Foundation grants are limited to organizations based in New York City, Hudson County, New Jersey, and Los Angeles County, California, as well as to a few selected national initiatives.  Here are some examples of work we support.

Hot Bread Kitchen
Hot Bread Kitchen is a unique social-purpose bakery that provides intensive artisan bread baking training to low-income immigrant women forging both community and valuable job training skills.

NO MORE is a groundbreaking symbol designed to galvanize change and radically increase the awareness of domestic violence and sexual assault in our communities, with the ultimate goal of ending the shame and stigma that surround them.
Rising Tide Capital
Based in Jersey City, New Jersey, Rising Tide Capital provides critical business training and technical assistance to women entrepreneurs, strengthening both leadership and business performance.
Sanctuary for Families
Through Sanctuary for Families' Economic Empowerment Program women living in shelter may participate in two intensive training programs – Career Readiness Workshop and Office Operations Workshop. Both of which provide important career planning and skill-building opportunities leading to self-sufficiency.
Women's Initiative for Self Employment
As part of a national expansion plan for the San Francisco-based nonprofit organization, Women's Initiative now offers low-income women in New York City a comprehensive program of management training to foster women's small business ownership potential.
Women In Nontraditional Employment Roles
WINTERGreen Careers for Women prepares women in Los Angeles to enter non-traditional employment careers through instruction in the trades and technical skills as well as classes in essential hard and soft skills needed to secure and retain employment.
